A juried ekphrasis exhibition organized and curated by Laird Art Gallery with All Seeds Academy, hosted at Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery (ECCAG). Around thirty participating artists each have their work paired with a poem written in response to it, placing visual art and written language side by side. Jury: Dermot Wilson (visual arts), Richard Scarsbrook (literary).

The opening reception introduces the artists and how each pairing came about. At the poetry reading on September 5, artists read their poems standing in front of their own work, speaking to their process and creative choices.
