Defined the visual language of a generation through social media, interior design, and fashion. Wes Anderson's film palettes popularised a similar dusty rose as a signifier of ironic nostalgia. The colour appeared simultaneously in men's fashion (pink shirts, suits) and gender-neutral children's products, contributing to conversations about gender and colour. By 2020, it had become somewhat passé — a victim of its own overexposure.
