Bio
Giles completed his BFA (with first-class honours) in Wellington, New Zealand, and his MFA at Western University, London, Ontario (he also holds an MSc in chemistry). His past exhibitions in New Zealand and Canada include representational and abstract video, sound, computer-controlled machine works, and generative and interactive multimedia installations.

Artist Statement
Over the last five years, I have been working digitally on a long series of abstract and semi-abstract artworks that convey the experiences of different life experiences and psychological states. I hand-draw works using digital painting software, and create my own software that divides, processes and remixes these works, and also provides customised drawing tools.
