Bio
After graduating with a BA in Media Arts and Communication, Maia pivoted into art fully in 2022 and has exhibited her work in galleries in Toronto and Hamilton. She continues to sell her art online and at year-round markets, and is currently working as a freelance artist and as an art instructor at the Oakville Art Society, where she leads workshops on a variety of topics

Artist Statement
Maia Madison is a mixed-media artist based in the GTA specializing in acrylic and digital painting. Inspired by nature, Maia's work often features animals or the environment with a dark whimsical twist. She explores themes of perception, reality, and identity, her art often incorporating mixed media techniques reflecting both the peace and chaos inherent in our lives.
